One-click app VPS and self-hosting
HELPER VPS one-click app VPS are Linux cloud servers that come with Docker, WordPress, LEMP or Node.js installed when you create them. Apps such as n8n, Nextcloud and WireGuard go on a Docker server with a single command.

What is a one-click app VPS?
Instead of a blank server with just an operating system, a server that starts with the software you want already installed.
Usually when you get a VPS, you have to install a web server, database and language runtime one by one on a blank server with just an operating system. With a one-click app VPS, choose an app from the image list when you create the server, and it boots with that app and the software it needs already installed. At HELPER VPS, four apps, Docker, WordPress, LEMP and Node.js, are installed on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
For apps with an official Docker image or install script, such as n8n, Nextcloud, WireGuard, GitLab, Coolify and Dokploy, create the server with the Docker image, paste the command from each app's page, and installation finishes in minutes. The apps themselves are free and open source; all you pay is the monthly price of the server plan you choose.
How to create an app server
Step 1. Region and size
On the create server page, choose the location closest to your users among 40 cities, and pick a size using the recommended plans on the app page.
Step 2. App image
In the Apps tab of the operating system section, choose one of Docker, WordPress, LEMP or Node.js. For other apps, choose Docker.
Step 3. Connect and start
When the server is on, connect over SSH. One-click apps are ready to use; for command-installed apps, run the command from the app page.
Place your server close to your users
Create app servers at the same price anywhere in 40 cities across 31 countries.
How is self-hosting different from a subscription service?
Subscription services often charge more as users, executions or storage grow. Self-host the same app on your own VPS and you pay only the server plan's monthly price; even as users and data grow, the price stays the same within the server's specs.
Another big difference is that your data is stored on your own server in the region you choose. You can manage customer data, internal documents and automation credentials yourself instead of entrusting them to another company's servers. In return you handle app updates and backups yourself, so turning on the automatic backups option at creation makes things easy.
One server per app, or several apps on one server?
When starting small, running several apps as containers on one Docker server is plenty. For example, a 16 GB memory plan can run n8n, a small database and a monitoring tool together.
When users grow or you add memory-hungry apps such as GitLab, splitting servers by app is easier to manage. You can create up to 10 servers in one account, and each server renews on its own billing cycle.
One-click app VPS FAQ
Answers on app installs, pricing and updates.
Do one-click apps cost extra?
No, the apps are free. You pay only the server plan's monthly price, plus any options you choose at creation, such as automatic backups or an extra disk.
Which apps are installed right at creation?
The server boots with four apps, Docker, WordPress, LEMP and Node.js, installed on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Other apps are installed by command on a Docker server.
Can I install apps that are not on the list?
Yes. It is a Linux server with root access, so you can install most apps that have a Docker image or install script yourself.
Who handles app updates?
The server owner updates apps. For Docker apps, pull the new image and recreate the container; WordPress updates from its admin area.
Can I switch to a different app later?
Yes, you can reinstall with an operating system or app image from the server page. Reinstalling wipes the disk, so move any data you need first.
Can I choose the region for app servers too?
Yes, every app server can be created in any of 40 cities at the same price.
